memorial day madness
friday 5/25
i met ellen, billie, paigie and eric at ellen's parents' restaurant, pho time. it was the first time i had been there; it's really cute. and the fried rice was excellent. we had birthday cake and then went home.
saturday, 5/26
i went shopping with teddy at the cerritos mall so we could find something for him to wear that night. we found 3 express shirts that were on sale - score! fyi, he only wore one of them, not all three at the same time.
we all had dinner at union cattle company in south pas for ellen's birthday. i thoroughly enjoyed my bbq chicken, creamed spinach and twice baked potato. i met !@#$%^ for the first time and i thought he was really cool. i'm so happy that ^&*()_ met him 'cause their personalities seem to mesh well.
billie, christine, ellen, eric, greg, haeran, paigie, teddy, !@#$%^ and i walked over to menage, where ted and leo also joined us. highlights: various people pole dancing, a certain couple making out on the dance floor, eric sleeping through half the night, the slutty go-go dancers, the 80s music and "umbrella."
sunday, 5/27
bceeghpr had lunch at "rubios" "near the pantages" "on the third floor of hollywood and highland" before taking a shuttle to griffith observatory (!@#$%^ joined us for griffith). highlights: ellen's wheelchair, haeran getting tricked into walking onto a scale, eating a snack out on the patio, visiting einstein, "underwear!" and the woman "time forgot" who got on the wrong bus.
ellen and paigie went to see "wicked" while bceghr had pinkberry and played scrabble at ellen's... and also ate almost an entire box of wheat thins. then everyone went to toi for thai food.
monday, 5/28
beeghpr went to buffet brunch at goofy's kitchen. highlights: the food (duh!), haeran snatching a balloon from a small child, eric's plates of exotic fruit, billie making peace with the disney characters and pluto putting the smack down on greg.
bceeghpr then went to laguna beach and spent the day either laying out on the sand or drinking beer.
next stop: sprinkles.
next stop: south coast plaza
final stop: korean bbq (plus gee and rich, minus !@#$%^).
tuesday, 5/29
spent the day with greg. went to sprinkles (we got strawberry and orange), went to fashion island: had a yummy wrap at the food court, searched for a gay astrology book at barnes & noble (as a gay male virgo my turn ons include business suits, torture/teasing, oral, twinks and "uncle" sex; you'll have to guess which are applicable), bought clothes at hollister. saw "shrek the third." it was okay, but the first two were better. favorite line: "there's a strange girl staring at us." had dinner with greg's brother and fiancee at a place called oggi's pizza and brewing company. the pizza and spinach ravoli were soooo good. went home in what felt like the first time in weeks!
