moments in time
just stuff that i've done the past few days
:: played "imagine if" with haeran, billie and teddy. it's fun... you learn what people think of each other, of other people and of yourself. for example, most people agreed if i were a decade, i would be the politically correct 90s. if haeran was falsely accused of stealing from work, most of us thought she would cry. besides ourselves, we also threw in ellen, jack, kiera knightly and bart simpson.
:: went to a warehouse sale... the tv production company carsey-werner is going out of business, so they were selling furniture and other stuff from their shows (like That 70s Show, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Cosby, etc.) my sister and her fiance found end tables, lamps and a cute blackboard/key holder for a pretty good price. i only found plastic portfolio folders... but i did get them for free. haha...
:: saw brokeback mountain again with billie and her mother. i was worried i wouldn't like it the second time around, but i was really able to appreciate how good that movie is on the second viewing. the acting, the storytelling, the directing... it was depressing again, though. billie's mom seemed to really like it and cried. billie says her mom hasn't stopped talking about it... haha... i love that she loved the movie.

:: went to my sister's housewarming party with billie and christine. someone brought a cute little dog that was very entertaining. and i had a really yummy cupcake.
:: went to this gay asian club with hadley. for garden grove, this place was actually a lot of fun. great music, great crowd, great space. i'd go again.
:: watched the oscars. really disappointed brokeback lost best picture, especially to something so average as crash. at least my beloved moulin rouge lost to a pretty good movie (a beautiful mind). oh, well, at least ang lee won. and i'm glad reese won. it was actually a pretty good show except for dumb montages that were badly put together and had no purpose. jon stewart was a very funny host and did a good job at poking fun at the entire event.
