BRILLIANT!

on my commute in this morning, i noticed the most brilliant thing i've seen in a long time... they are now using the traffic/accident alerts to tell you how long it will take to drive a certain distance. i was on the 105W and the sign told me it would take 20min to get to the 110 and 35 min to get to LAX. love it! (the one on the 5N wasn't very accurate though.)

And yes, i really did just write a blog on traffic signs.

Tell Me A Fable

Once upon a time, three friends traveled to the far away magic kingdom called Disneyland. Young Paigie, deal-seeker extraordinaire, found a kind fairy godmother named Gracey, who sold the three friends tickets to enter the kingdom early -- and at a more reasonable price. The three friends scurried onto all the major rides with only about 10 minutes of waiting... space mountain, star tours, indiana jones, thunder mountain... although the best ride was buzz lightyear's astro blasters. Young Ryan enjoyed that one the most, along with the Haunted Mansion. Young Haeran, though not as young as Young Paigie and Young Ryan, was celebrating her birthday at the park, and seemed to most enjoy it's a small world. The three adventurers also visited the land called california adventure. There were a handful of delightful rides and a big parade full of young gay men. After returning to the main park, the trio waited patiently for the much-talked-about fireworks show... but evil forces plotted against the good people of anaheim and the show was canceled. at least the phantasmic show prevailed. after 17 hours of joy and happiness, Young Paigie, Haeran and Ryan returned home. The end.
