Day One of "Spring Break '07"

9:30am... i arrive at the office, head still cloudy from my allergy/head cold. have to ask security to undo my office locks as i'm the only sucker who has to come in during the two-week break

9:45am... discuss last night's "amazing race" with petros over aim. i can't stop smiling over the image of charla falling face down in her tiny suit of armor. and also one of the guidos running out to stop a plane by ringing a little bell.

10am... read some outlines for work while listening to timbaland's new cd (i really like it, especially "release" and "scream" and a song where missy says, "big ol' butt" -- it makes me laugh). in addition to macy gray and mika's new cds, i'm loving new music right now...

10:30am... writer calls with a couple of questions. yes, zack was playing in the street when his sister chelsea hit and killed him with her car. good times, good times.

11am... intern comes in, i retreat to joe's office so as not to infect her with my germs.

12pm-3pm... read "The Woman in White."

3:15pm... text a friend so i'm not so lonely.

3:30pm... check out the white party happening this weekend in palm springs... $110?! you can't tell me kelis costs that much to perform

4pm... try to watch "the tudors" online but it keeps stopping and starting. even the allure of a jonathon rhys myers love scene isn't enough to make me keep watching.

5pm... stare out the window in silence... decide to blog.

so not an entirely horrible day... it beats doing actual work, that's for sure...
