San Diego, September 2007

Greg and I took a quick trip down to SD. We stopped off at Hash House for the first time and had a great breakfast/lunch. Made it just in time before they closed, so no wait. Thanks for the great itinerary, Ellen!

This was my meal. Doesn't it look yummy? The biscuit was great. Don't know why a tree was growing out of it.

Then we went to Balboa Park, which is really beautiful. One of my favorite places in SD.

This was also at Balboa.

Then I shoved Greg into the fountain. Just kidding.

We went bar-hopping with Kavita later that night, but didn't take any pics. We went to Pink Elephant (cute straight place), Red Wing (old gays) and Bourbon Street (one of my favorite bars in SD). Bourbon had a mean lesbian DJ who refused to play "The Way I Are" but gladly played "Pina Colada."
This pic and above is the morning after, when Kavita, Greg and I reconvened for more yummy breakfast food at The Mission. The blueberry pancakes and hash and tofu were excellent.Kavita and Greg outside the Mission.

Kavita, Greg and I... no, wait... these are seals at La Jolla Cove.

Doesn't it look like something out of Dr. Seus? Thankfully Dumbass didn't break his neck. And I say "Dumbass" with much endearment.

Pics from the Birthday Bash

The cupcakes say it all.

Birthday Boy and Birthday Girl in their 70's/80's couture.

Looks like he wants to be the Birthday Girl.

It was quite the trippy experience.

The legendary debauchery of Studio 54 lives on.

Lots of sexy poses.

Ditto.

Ditto Ditto.

Lots of smiles, too.

See?

Sexy ladies!

Like most disco clubs, it was hot... and so were the guests, in more ways than one.

People took refuge outside.

People even had two outfits to change into.

Peace. Groovy.

More party people.

Is someone high in this picture?

How about in this one?

Maybe here?

Guests were forced to take a quiz on the birthday kids.

These were the lucky winners and their fabulous prizes.

Drinks for everyone!

Karoake came later...

These two were the lucky ones.

Is baby Ian getting a lullabye?

Greg checks out the party favors... is someone about to get lucky in the men's room?
