Risky Behavior
I haven't blogged in a long time because I've been going through a lot and didn't feel like rehashing it. I think I'm starting to turn a corner, though. I feel like overall I'm on steadier ground. But it's always changing. So I might as well blog while I'm in a good mood. Here are some updates:
:: I saw "Made of Honor" twice this weekend. First time was on a date with a guy who was pretty nice. He's an intern writer for "Instinct" magazine and a bartender at Chateau Marmont. Cool guy, but I think I'd rather be friends. Anyway, second time I saw the movie was today. My sister and I took my mom to see it for Mother's Day. It's a cute movie even though, as my date remarked, I felt like I've seen that movie 50 times before. Patrick Dempsey is cute, but I didn't realize his voice was so nasally. My coworker and I saw him at NBC and he looked so much hotter in person. So tan and a nice smile.
:: I did the Revlon 5K Walk for Women's Cancer on Saturday morning. Teddy, Haeran, Ellen and Mike also participated. I think Haeran took some pics, so I'll see if I can post those later. It was cool... we mostly walked, but then jogged for a bit. Then Ellen took us to a great Mexican place afterwards.
:: I went camping for the first time with the boys and girl (16 people total). It was fun but an emotionally difficult weekend because of the ex. Luckily, I had some great support with me. We played Uno and Catchphrase. Went to a nude beach where we saw old, saggy people wearing just socks and shoes. It was funny watching a guy apply suntan lotion to his penis... but hey, that is something you definitely DON'T want sunburned. And I didn't mind sleeping in a tent so much. I have a couple pics from that weekend...

:: I've been getting back into playing tennis. Couple weeks back, played with Mark, David and Billie, then David, Greg, Ryan and Ian, and then Darryl and Hadley. Darryl and Hadley are actually really good, so I guess I'll have to step up my game.
:: Speaking of games, Ryan, Ian, David, Mark and I played Risk last night. It was so much fun. I haven't played in so long. It reminded me of the days in high school when my group of friends played all night... and Rossana and Ellen would cheat... lol. I ended up getting my butt kicked -- damn Australia! The two newbies (Ian and Davey) ended up duking it out.
