FutureSex!

I'm once again a Justin Timberlake fan... at least musically. I heart his new CD, "FutureSex/LoveSounds." There are quite a few good tracks on there. My favorite new song is "LoveStoned/I Think She Knows Interlude." The interlude at the end is so beautiful, it nearly makes me cry. I also like the title track, "Losing My Way," "My Love" and "What Comes Around... Goes Around." And of course, "SexyBack."

A little poem

I don't enjoy poetry all that much, but I was recently reminded of this poem I actually really do like (Thornsten Kaye gave a terrific reading of it on "One Life to Live" many years ago and it became iconic for his character, Patrick):

Dear Pluto

Dear Pluto,

I'm sorry you are no longer considered a planet. I can't say you were my favorite planet, but I will miss you nonetheless. I will forever cherish my childhood memories of a 9 planet solar system. It's all that Xena's fault, stirring up controversy. Stupid bitch! And pretty soon Mars is going to get all the attention since it's so close to Earth tomorrow... and then apparently that's going to be the home of the Transformers in next year's movie... Anyway, best of luck

Bitch Music

A while back, Billie coined a term that I love: bitch music. To me, bitch music is something that conjures up visuals of vixenish girls struting into a room. The song has to be dripping with attitude and even a little sexifulness (to borrow another Billie term). Here's my list of my Top 5 favorite bitch songs.
